ACCURATE FIBER LASER CUT

Laser cut SMT stencils have raised the bar on precision and quality throughout the electronic manufacturing service industry.  

First pass yield, consistent aperture size and location, superior side wall quality and instant turnaround are probably the most compelling reasons to choose laser over any other production technology for SMT solder paste stencils.

The laser cutter consist of propiertary laser sources that are optimized for performance, power, stability and uptime.  This laser sources provide a much broader range of control parameters then standard off-shelf third party products. The output power is continuously monitored and maintained to guarantee constituency, optimum quality and the smallest possible beam size.

Stencil Express lasers system is able to use pure oxygen as a cutting gas.  Oxygen is usually recommended for thick materials or thin and very dense stencils.  The laser system uses an ultra-light and reliable axis structure made of carbon fiber.  As a result, it is capable of maintaining high precision and repeatability-continuously providing optimum quality cuts.  Features include real-time process control that checks each stencil opening in real time, this allows ability to detect deviation from production data in real time. the combination of carbon fiber structure driven by high speed linear motors provides the right combination needed for accuracy specifications.

PRECISION ALLOY FOILS

Use of proprietary precision rolled strip manufactured from a 304 stainless steel base.  304 stainless steel alloys are know to have properties as resistance to corrosion, prevention of product contamination, resistance to oxidation, excellent formability, beauty of appearance, ease of cleaning,high strength with low weight, good strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures. 

The proprietary foil's clean and homogeneous structure combined with low residual stress ensures minimal deformation, also has the tightest thickness controls in the market.

Repeatability is the key to optimising print performance:


  • Thickness tolerance of +/- 2% is the tightest in the industry, with > 6σ repeatability
  • Controlled surface roughness of < 0.15um maintains paste rolling characteristics from stencil to stencil
  • Uniform grain structure and low residual stress ensure consistent response to tensioning, laser cutting and printing processes
  • We use proprietary microstructure PhD stainless (Grain size 7-11 µm) and our framed stencils comes with FG (Fine Grain) stainless (Grain size 2-3 µm)

Stencil Express stocks high quality aluminium frames for solder paste printing.  Mounted with stainless steel foil that offer a consistent product that has been through rigorous testing and is proven in the market.  All our Incoming frames, foils  and mesh were inspected to ensure they meet with manufacturers specifications.
